Brian E. Code, CLU, AEP, CFP®
Brian Code received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of South Florida. Prior to entering the financial services field, he worked for Arthur Young and Company, CPAs and was an internal auditor with Jim Walter Corporation. Brian is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He has been awarded the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He also carries the Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation and holds certification as a Special Care Planner. Brian is a member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and National Association of Estate Planners and Councils.
Brian and his wife Karen have three children. He is active in his church and involved in the community and served in the U. S. Army Reserve for six years. He has been very active in junior golf organizations and served as President of the Greater Tampa Junior Golf Association for seven years. All three of his children played golf for the University of Florida, and he was named Golfweek magazine’s 2003 National Father of the Year. When not playing golf, he is often playing competitive hockey. Other interests include traveling, skiing, and spending time outdoors.
Jordan P. Code, CLU, ChFC, CFP®
Jordan Code received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida. He was a member of the University of Florida Men’s Golf Team, named captain his senior year, and played on both an SEC Championship team and an NCAA Championship team.
Prior to entering the financial services field, he worked for PolyGard, Inc. as an Assistant Controller. He obtained his insurance license in 2002. In 2007 Jordan received the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). Jordan earned the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2008. Jordan is a member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and is also a Tampa Connection alumnus.
Jordan and his wife Paige have four children. In addition to playing golf, Jordan plays competitive hockey. Other interests include hunting and fishing.

Donna Goggio began her career in 1973 with a major insurance carrier in Tampa, earning their Employee of the Year designation three times. She joined our team in 1998 and became insurance licensed in 1999 to better serve and oversee the servicing of our employee benefits clients. During her career, Donna has completed several Life Office Management Association (LOMA) courses and many life and health insurance classes. After obtaining quotes from numerous carriers, Donna is responsible for analyzing and preparing informative proposals on an annual basis. She also assists our business clients and their employees with claim or billing issues.

Hannah Broome graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. Hannah has prior professional experience in data analytics, human resources, and employee benefits. She joined Code Smith Benefits in 2023 as an Employee Benefits Specialist. In this role, she assists our group clients with annual renewals, claims, and various clerical needs.

Savannah graduated from the International culinary School at the Art Institute of Tampa, with an Associate of Arts in Culinary Arts. She joined our firm in 2022 as an Employee Benefits Specialist where she helps to assist our group clients with annual renewals, claims, and various clerical needs.
Savannah and her husband Joey have two children, Emorie & Silas. She loves gardening, Sporting clay shooting with her husband, and trying every last taco truck that she comes across.

Barbara Williamson began her financial services career in 1978 with a major insurance carrier in Tampa. She joined Brian as a personal assistant in 1981 and has continued to work with us in an administrative capacity over the years as the team has grown. Barbara’s experience spans several areas of the industry including customer service, claims handling, group health/employee benefits, and case management. During her career, she has completed several Life Office Management Association (LOMA) courses and many life and health insurance classes.
